Dear Visitor,
The word "landscape" can mean many things, a flower box, a residential yard, or an expanding vista. At the very least, it is a three-dimensional reality that we share with others. We humans have a long history of managing this landscape of ours, for practical and aesthetic reasons. Here in central Contra Costa, for example, native Americans managed the land for thousands years by setting fires to increase the acorn harvest.
Within the limits of climate and surrounding conditions, homeowners can manage their own residential landscapes to create almost any desired effect. Soils can be modified and topographic details can be added. Plantings, walks, and structures can create a desired ambience. The front yard can welcome the community while the backyard can become a refuge from a complicated world.
At Garden of Eden landscaping, we love our work. Exploring the color and beauty of the plant world is a joy. Building quality decks, fences, and other structures gives us job satisfaction. Beautiful, effective, and long lasting retaining walls provide a sense of engineering gratification. Constructing waterfalls is our secret pleasure. Integrating all these separate elements into one coherent and pleasing design is the ultimate achievement.
But of all these pleasures, the one that counts the most is providing
you, the customer, with a service that meets your expectations.
Our goal is to work with you and your location. Our job is to advise
you on how to achieve the landscape you desire. And then to provide
you with the skills, services, and labor to make that dream happen.
